Despite the disappointment of Grandparent’s Day being cancelled, our ELC and JLC students took the opportunity to honour their grandparents by reflecting and thinking about their grandparents. Students in Prep-Year 2 came to school in their Nursery Rhyme characters and were involved in an array of activities from making cards, drawing pictures of their grandparents, sharing with the class what they love about them and playing some grandparent-themed games. Grandparent’s play such an important role in our lives and today we wish to thank all our grandparents for all that you do!
Despite restrictions or distance, we know love transcends barriers and hope this shares a little of our appreciation and love to all grandparents and those who mentor our students.
